Construction Sciences prepared trial mix samples which incorporated AQURON 300 admixture in order to evaluate the AQURON 300 admixture for compliance with the requirements of AS1478.1-2000 for a Type SN admixture.
The following tests were carried out on control and AQURON A300 samples:
- Fresh concrete testing – including batching, mixing, slump, air content and density;
- Setting time;
- Bleeding;
- Compressive strength at 3, 7, 28 and 91 days;
- Drying shrinkage after 7, 14, 21, 28 and 56 days.
