What is GBCA, and why is it important?

MARKHAM is registered with GBCA.

What is the GBCA?

GBCA stands for Green Building Council of Australia.

Established in 2002, our purpose is to lead the sustainable transformation of the built environment.” – GBCA

GBCA facilitates Green Building within Australia, which incorporates principles of sustainable development – meeting the needs of the present without compromising the future. This in turn leads to the Green Star rating system for fitouts, buildings, homes and communities.

And why is MARKHAM a registered member of the GBCA supplier list?

MARKHAM products can assist in achieving required Green Star ratings. Seven core MARKHAM products are licenced to use the ECNZ ecolabel, which is recognized by GBCA. The RPV (Responsible Product Value) of these products will contribute towards the project’s Responsible Products Framework.

MARKHAM continues to work closely with GBCA and keep updated on its evolving policy frameworks.
