CONQOR 47B is a delayed-swell waterstop gasket.

CONQOR 47B waterstops are butyl hydrophilic polymer-based gasket, which has a built-in delay system that activates after approximately 3+ days of constant exposure to water.

CONQOR waterstops are manufactured utilising a specialised mixing process which encapsulates hydrophilic materials into a rubber base creating a controlled, moisture-activated gasket. This gasket has the structural integrity of a rubber-based sealant; the features of a butyl sealant; as well as the ability to expand to create a SELF-HEALING JOINT MATERIAL.

BUILT-IN DELAY SYSTEM

Stop premature expansion! Traditional waterstops can swell prematurely in wet conditions, while waiting for neighbouring slabs to be poured. This premature expansion reduces or removes the useful effect of the gasket.

  • For use in horizontal and vertical joints
  • Excellent adhesion, can be bedded into wet concrete
  • No compact or displacement problems
  • Unaffected by repeated dry cycles
  • Bonds to both concrete surfaces
  • Does not lose integrity over time in water

  • No loss of integrity of waterstop
  • Allows concrete to gain full strength before expansion
  • Does not absorb water from the fresh concrete poured against it, eliminating the risks of the gasket expanding and causing the curing concrete to spall/de-bond directly above the gasket. 
  • Tested to withstand a 40-metre head of pressure and because of their butyl properties actually bond to both concrete surfaces.
