Ngāi Tahu Seafoods – Bluff

For this Ngāi Tahu Seafoods food processing project in the Deep South of New Zealand, we specified AQURON 300 and AQURON 2000 for concrete protection in this harsh environment.

This project required enhanced durability of the concrete, resulting in reduced maintenance and reduced risk of concrete remediation. Additionally, it ensures a safe environment for hygiene-sensitive buildings.

The INFRA-TECT system offers a comprehensive solution for concrete protection. It includes AQURON 2000, a spray-applied hydrogel for curing, sealing, and durability. In this project, AQURON 300 waterproofing admixture was also used. These hydrogel treatments work in harmony to effectively prevent the entry of soluble contaminants, like chlorides in marine environments, ensuring the durability of concrete slabs.

These hydrogel treatments are Nil-VOC, and are certified for use in potable water projects.
