Anti-dust Hardening at Rockhampton Hospital car park
Both the floors and ceilings of the Rockhampton Hospital multi-level car park were treated with penetrating hydrogels .
One variant of the INFRA-TECT® system was supplied and applied for concrete cure and hardening of the floors. The system was also adapted for hardening and dust prevention of the ceilings.
The ceilings? Concrete ceilings in car parks are under attack from exhaust fumes. This triggers a reaction called carbonation, which deteriorates the surface and creates fine dust. That dust is not good for your lungs. So – binding and hardening the concrete, to a depth of up to 150mm, helps protect it and you.
