THERMAL CURING BLANKETS

CONQOR TCB - Thermal Curing Blankets

CONQOR TCB thermal curing blankets protect against temperature differentials, both cold and heat

CONQOR TCB thermal curing blankets are designed for use in concrete construction when ambient temperatures are particularly low or high. Concrete curing in low ambient temperatures (below 10°C) will take longer to achieve the desired strength, conversely curing in high ambient temperatures (over 32°C) encourage uneven curing and shrinkage cracking.

  • CONQOR TCB will protect the concrete while curing and allow it to achieve desired strength in a shorter time frame.
  • CONQOR TCB reduces the temperature differential between the core and surface curing temperatures.
  • CONQOR TCB also assists in reducing shrinkage.

CONQOR TCB thermal curing blankets are particularly suited to wind turbine bases, with their high volume concrete and project sites which by their nature are highly exposed and subject to high winds.

Why use CONQOR TCB?

CONQOR TCB thermal curing blankets help protect concrete during the curing phase, in extreme cold or hot ambient temperatures.

CONQOR TCB

PROTECT AGAINST EXTREME COLD

Concrete curing in low ambient temperatures (below 10°C) will take longer to achieve desired strength. CONQOR TCB retains the curing heat of the slab, minimizing temperature differential between the core and the surface.

CONQOR TCB

PROTECT AGAINST EXTREME HEAT

Curing concrete in high ambient temperatures (over 32°C) encourage uneven curing and shrinkage cracking.

How CONQOR TCB works.

CONQOR TCB contains a layer of thermal insulation, sandwiched within a durable woven polyethylene cover. This insulation protects against heat loss or gains. The thermal insulation protects against heat loss on the surface, while the polyethylene cover protects against heat from direct sunlight. This will also help protect the concrete from natural elements such as rain and wind.
