The Nepean Hospital Car Park

The Nepean Hospital multi-level Car park in Kingswood NSW required multiple solutions for the various demands spread across 26,000 m2 of concrete.

The concrete was treated with AQURON 1000, to provide permanent anti-dust sealing benefits, as well as to achieve a full cure.

But on the top level, AQURON 2000 was used. This achieves the same benefits, as well as waterproofing, to prevent leaks and increase durability on the most exposed section of the car park.

The result is lower maintenance long-term for the asset owner, and a smoother process for the builder – the treatment is compatible with future coatings like line-marking without needing to be ground off, and doesn’t need the water access, disruption, or attention that water-curing requires.
