What is the contamination risk?
Healthcare and aged care institutions offer some specific contamination challenges for concrete floor slabs. Bodily fluids pose a significant risk, as they can readily seep through the carpet or vinyl joints and work their way into the concrete’s porosity. Once there, they are impossible to permanently remove.
