PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
CONQOR PROTECT is a spray-applied colloidal silica treatment for concrete densifying, curing assistance, controlling moisture migration, molecular binding, and durability. CONQOR PROTECT treats the inside of the concrete.
CONQOR PROTECT is suitable for interior and exterior use.
BASIC USE
CONQOR PROTECT is a permanent, clear treatment/preservative/sealant solution for new or old concrete. CONQOR PROTECT will seal the concrete internally, stop moisture migration and significantly preserve its embedded steel. CONQOR PROTECT has a highly reactive catalytic agent that reacts with free alkali and/or alkaline hydrates internally, producing a silica hydrogel that fills the pore spaces and the voids around the aggregate. The alkali is converted to a neutral compound structure, reducing the potential for internal chemical reactions. More density is added, additional bonding strength is provided and concrete is permanently hydrostatically sealed from within.
CONQOR PROTECT is an ideal product for concrete or other masonry surfaces to be painted or coated, since it enhances the bonding quality of the surface.
CONQOR PROTECT prevents peeling, cracking, and loss of bond caused by capillary moisture or internal chemical reactions that can lead to saponification.
CONQOR PROTECT will not alter the surface appearance or physical characteristics, making it ideal for use on all new or existing concrete installations, including precast slabs, soffits, decks, hardstands, basements, parking garage decks, sidewalks, driveways, etc.
CONQOR PROTECT is a penetrating, non-combustible concrete treatment, independently tested to BS EN 13501 1 using ISO 1182 (non-combustibility) and ISO 1716 (heat of combustion). When applied to concrete, it does not contribute to fire, flame spread, or heat release.
