MARKHAM Case Study – Bristol Airport

Bristol Airport car park waterproofing

Adding Life to Concrete – How MARKHAM applied hydrogel waterproofing systems to a new multi-storey car park structure at Bristol Airport, England.

The more traditional multi-coat deck membrane that this type of deck structure would normally be sealed with presents a number of challenges, being significantly impacted by poor weather conditions and delays waiting for the appropriate level of concrete cure.

This would have been particularly critical for this project, as this element of the work would have fallen during winter and early spring. MARKHAM were asked to provide an alternative waterproofing system to seal the top deck of this structure.

What was the choice? What was the outcome? You’re invited to download the case study.
