What is CONQOR 47B WATERSTOP?
CONQOR 47B is a delayed-swell waterstop gasket, designed to activate after 3+ days.
CONQOR 47B waterstops are butyl hydrophilic polymer-based gaskets, that have a built-in delay system that activates after approximately 3+ days of constant exposure to water.
CONQOR waterstops are manufactured utilising a specialised mixing process which encapsulates hydrophilic materials into a rubber base creating a controlled, moisture-activated gasket. This gasket has the structural integrity of a rubber-based sealant; the features of a butyl sealant; as well as the ability to expand to create a SELF-HEALING JOINT MATERIAL.

EASY TO INSTALL | Step-by-Step Video
- Ensure the surface where CONQOR 47B WATERSTOP gasket is to be installed is smooth, to ensure a complete contact for gasket.
- CONQOR 47B WATERSTOP gasket is to be placed on the positive water ingress side of any reinforcing, to ensure structural reinforcing is protected from moisture ingress long-term.
- Unroll required length of CONQOR 47B WATERSTOP gasket, apply contact adhesive to the exposed side, and then apply contact adhesive to the concrete surface to have the gasket installed. Allow to tack-off. NOTE: Use contact adhesive CS1550, CONQOR FIX, Sabrebond SMP60 or similar.
- Install CONQOR 47B WATERSTOP gasket on to concrete, apply pressure to ensure complete contact with surface.
- Concrete nails may be utilized as an alternative to adhesive.
- Join lengths of CONQOR 47B WATERSTOP gasket, by cutting a 45° splice and kneading together to form continuous gasket.
- Ensure the CONQOR 47B WATERSTOP gasket is securely fixed to the surface, prior to concrete being poured, as any gap between gasket and
surface will result in the waterstop performance being compromised. - If the surface is rough, ensure that there are no gaps between the surface of the concrete and the 47B gasket
