Delayed-swell waterstop gasket, designed to activate after 3+ days.
Prevent premature expansion. Traditional waterstops can swell prematurely in wet conditions while neighbouring slabs are being poured. This premature expansion reduces or eliminates the gasket’s useful effect.
CONQOR 47B waterstop is a butyl hydrophilic polymer-based gasket, that has a built-in delay system to activate after approximately 3+ days of constant exposure to water.

HOW IT WORKS.
CONQOR waterstops are manufactured utilising a specialised mixing process which encapsulates hydrophilic materials into a rubber base creating a controlled, moisture-activated gasket. This gasket has the structural integrity of a rubber-based sealant; the features of a butyl sealant; as well as the ability to expand to create a self-healing joint material.

CONQOR 47B & CONQOR 87B compared
The key difference between CONQOR 47B and CONQOR 87B is the swell delay time. The magenta-coloured CONQOR 87B swells in 8-24 hours. The cyan-coloured CONQOR 47B swells in 3+ days. CONQOR 47B tolerates longer exposure to rain and ponding prior to pour, while CONQOR 87B is the faster swelling option for projects requiring faster activation.
