What is CONQOR A6?

CONQOR A6 is a nanosilica-based concrete admixture used to enhance early strength, stability, and workability of fresh concrete mixes.
The colloidal silica nanoparticles act as active nucleation sites, accelerating the dissolution of Portland cement and pozzolans, effectively accelerating early hydration and strength development.
This increased rapid formation of CSH (calcium silicate hydrate) gel has a marked rheology-modifying effect in the matrix of the fresh concrete that enhances the plastic properties of concrete such as stability, cohesion, and workability.
CONQOR A6 is formulated for versatility and is compatible with most supplementary cementitious materials (SCMs) and admixtures. It delivers thixotropic behaviour – higher viscosity when static, but excellent flow when pumped, vibrated, or screeded.
This enhanced rheology also supports more predictable behaviour across a wider range of placement conditions, helping deliver consistent results in both standard and demanding concrete applications.

How CONQOR A6 Admixture works.
CONQOR A6's core technology is based on colloidal silica nanoparticles. When mixed into concrete, these nano-size particles act as active nucleation sites, accelerating the dissolution of Portland cement and pozzolans, effectively accelerating early hydration and the formation of CSH (calcium silicate hydrate) gel.
This rapid CSH formation creates a rheology-modifying effect within the fresh concrete matrix, enhancing plastic properties such as stability, cohesion, and workability. The thixotropic behaviour means the mix shows higher viscosity when static but excellent flow when pumped, vibrated, or screeded. CONQOR A6 is an admixture that accelerates the hydration of blast-furnace slag concretes allowing greener GGBS concretes to be used at lower temperatures. This product is not subject to warning or ban under section 26 of the Building Act 2004.
CONQOR A6 Details.
CONQOR A6 is supplied to suit the cubic meterage of the mix, based on the requirements of the mix design. CONQOR A6 is available to readymix plants in either 20 litre drums (minimum order quantity) or 1000 litre IBC totes.
