CONQOR A6 is a slag concrete workability admixture that also delivers early-age strength development for slag-rich concrete.” It’s a targeted blend of chemicals, including colloidal silica technology, that activates slag- and SCM-rich mixes and is designed to support low-carbon concrete.
CONQOR A6 activates the slag earlier to boost early strength development and then helps with cohesion, rheology, and works against the stickiness of a slag-rich mix to help pump, place and finish the mix beyond production.
CONQOR A6 helps ready-mix producers and precast manufacturers adopt lower-carbon concrete and SCMs more effectively, while achieving the results we’re used to seeing with GP concrete. The colloidal silica nanoparticles suspended in CONQOR A6 act as active nucleation sites, accelerating the dissolution of Portland cement and pozzolans, effectively accelerating early hydration and strength development.

Rheology modifying
CONQOR A6 promotes increased rapid formation of C-S-H (calcium silicate hydrate) gel within the mix. The result is a marked rheology-modifying effect in the matrix of the fresh concrete that enhances the plastic properties of concrete such as stability, cohesion, and workability.
