CONQOR A80 Strength Accelerator for Slag Concrete & Shotcrete, is a liquid admixture that is used to enhance the stability and early age strength development of fresh concrete mixes using 30 to 65% GGBS (Ground Granulated Blast-Furnace Slag).

Compatible with all other MARKHAM additives and formulated to overcome the effects of low temperature on the early setting and hardening of GGBS concretes.

HOW DOES THIS PRODUCT HELP YOUR CONCRETE?

CONQOR A80 Strength Accelerator for Slag Concrete & Shotcrete, is a liquid admixture that has been formulated for use in concrete mixes where the addition of GGBS is required, particularly in colder weather. It is compatible with the majority of SCMs and other admixtures.

CONQOR A80 ADMIXTURE

GGBS concretes in cold weather

CONQOR A80 produces concrete mixes that will set and harden much more quickly, especially at low temperatures. Traditional calcium nitrate-based accelerators do not work well below 8°c.  CONQOR A80 is effective at 4ºc.

This makes it ideal where a faster return to service is required from GGBS concrete.

CONQOR A80 ADMIXTURE

Sprayed concrete / shotcrete

By stabilising the mix and enhance early strengths, CONQOR A80 is a valuable inclusion for sprayed concrete / shotcrete.

How CONQOR A80 admixture works.

CONQOR A80 Strength Accelerator for Slag Concrete & Shotcrete, is a liquid admixture that accelerates the hydration of blast-furnace slag concretes allowing greener GGBS concretes to be used at lower temperatures.

CONQOR A80 produces concrete mixes that will set and harden much more quickly, especially at low temperatures. Traditional calcium nitrate-based accelerators do not work well below 8°c.  CONQOR A80 is effective at 4ºc.

At 1 to 2% by weight of binder, CONQOR A80 enhances early hydration and supports strength development within the first 12–24 hours, without significantly altering the setting or finishing times of the concrete. This makes it well-suited for a wide range of mix designs commonly used in both standard and cold-weather concreting.

CONQOR A80 is compatible with typical mix water–cement ratios and often used for cold or low-temperature conditions. It integrates easily into most mix designs without requiring  adjustment to standard placing, finishing, or curing practices.
