CONQOR B52 is the world’s first HYBRID hydrogel – a two-part additive that reacts together once mixed in the concrete, to transform moisture in the porosity into a hydrogel – offering superior internal and sub-surface concrete waterproofing PLUS surface water repellency. This protects your concrete structure from the surface all the way down to the reinforcing steel.
Independent testing proves that CONQOR B52 complies with AS1478, meaning it only enhances your concrete, plus, it passes AS1012 VPV proving permeability reduction.

How CONQOR B52 Admixture works.
The core technology is colloidal silica hydrogel. When mixed into the concrete, the nano-size colloidal silica reacts with the calcium hydroxide in the pore water to form a stable, polymerized, colloidal silica hydrogel in the pores and porosity, once the concrete reaches initial set.
This hydrogel over time reaches strengths similar to Calcium-Silicate-Hydrate (C-S-H, cement paste). Its most important function though, at any age, is that it stops moisture migration through the concrete porosity. Once the reaction
has taken place, and the hydrogel is formed, it is permanent and cannot be reversed or removed, it becomes part of the concrete itself.

CONQOR B52 is an admixture which waterproofs concrete, providing structural waterproofing and durability. Additionally it provides surface water repellency. This product is not subject to warning or ban under section 26 of the Building Act 2004.
CONQOR B52 ADMIXTURE Details.

CONQOR B52 waterproofing and water repellency admixture is supplied to suit the cubic meterage of the mix, based on the requirements of the mix design. CONQOR B52 is available (as a Part A and B) to readymix plants in either 20 litre drums (minimum order quantity) or 1000 litre IBC totes.
This approach ensures your specific project gets the correct treatment and ensures effective quality control.
