What is CONQOR S70?

CONQOR S70: Advanced ground improvement solution for reducing soil permeability and increasing stability.

 

CONQOR S70 is a two-component, nanosilica-based permeation grout designed to significantly reduce soil or sand permeability, and increase ground bearing strength, without harming the underlying aquifer.

When mixed with its activator, CONQOR S70 undergoes a controlled gelation process, forming a resilient colloidal gel that stabilises the ground and reduces water movement. Two grades of activator are available: one polymer-modified for flexibility, and one for a harder set.

CONQOR S70 is highly effective for both temporary and permanent ground improvement, including ground freezing in problematic soils. It is a proven solution for reducing soil permeability, controlling groundwater, and isolating contaminants.

How CONQOR S70 Permeation Grout works.

CONQOR S70's core technology is based on nanosilica permeation grouting. When the two components are mixed together, CONQOR S70 undergoes a controlled gelation process, forming a resilient colloidal gel within the soil matrix. This gel stabilises the ground by filling voids and binding soil particles, significantly reducing water movement and increasing bearing capacity. The gel point occurs within 5-30 minutes at 20°C, with workability time ranging from 3-22 minutes depending on mix ratio and temperature. Typical mix ratios range from 2:1 to 8:1 (by weight), allowing flexibility for different applications and soil conditions. Two grades of activator are available to suit project requirements: polymer-modified for flexibility in dynamic conditions, or standard for maximum hardness. The treatment does not harm the underlying aquifer, making it environmentally responsible for both temporary and permanent ground improvement.
