The Isaac Theatre, built in 1903, was badly damaged by the Christchurch earthquakes in 2011. The restoration works included about 2000m² of concrete panels.
These panels were sealed with AQURON 1200*, a water-repellent surface sealer that increases durability and lowers the need for concrete maintenance.
AQURON 1200* is particularly suited to precast concrete walls, including both industrial and decorative applications, and helps minimise weather-related discolouration.
This treatment is an option in MARKHAM’s INFRA-TECT system, providing long-term protection for exposed concrete structures.
