Otira Viaduct – Arthur’s Pass

Location:

Arthur's Pass, South Island NZ

Country:

New Zealand

Project Type:

Civil / Infrastructure

Project Scale:

0 – 5,000 m²

The pylons of the Otira Viaduct in the South Island of NZ were treated with AQURON 2000 for water leakage and inadequate steel cover, when it was built in 1999.

This is a great example of the CIVIL-TECT system being used proactively, rather than a reactive approach, and results in durability for weathering and rock flows.
