Preserving history at Perth Concert Hall
The Perth Concert Hall was originally constructed in 1973. Its brutalist design featured extensive exposed precast concrete!
In 2014, the concrete facade pillars and other elements of the Perth Concert Hall were treated with water repellent AQURON 1200 – part of MARKHAM’s INFRA-TECT® approach. This helps preserve the natural appearance of concrete exposed to the weather.
The Hall underwent redevelopment works in 2025.
