Protecting exposed concrete on a Storage King project
The exposed concrete hardstand and unit slabs of the Storage King facility in Deagon, Qld, are protected by penetrating hydrogel treatment.
Spray-applied hydrogel treatment penetrates deep into the concrete, and protects against abrasion, weathering and ageing of exposed concrete. In this project, it was ideal for long-term protection and durability of the trafficable areas. It also makes the concrete easier to clean, minimising maintenance of the surface.
