WATERPROOFING CHALLENGE
Where do you find a beach pavilion? On the beach, of course.
That location immediately presents a waterproofing challenge due to persistent seepage and a subgrade water level. In the case of this pavilion, the lower section was partly sent into the beach dune.
RESPONSE
MARKHAM provided a holistic approach using the three-part methods of BASE-TECT®, our long-standing full basement waterproofing.
In particularly high-risk areas, AQURON 7000 was also applied for ultimate concrete protection. This is a marine zone, after all.
RESULTS
Some of the team visited site more recently.
The beach is still spectacular, and the Pavilion is still looking amazing and standing strong!
