SKY Residences is a 189-luxury residential development in Newcastle NSW. Consisting of three interconnecting buildings via the level three podium, with dual access via Hunter Street and King Street, the development was constructed over two stages from October 2019 to August 2022. Making the Concrete Stronger from Day One
The MARKHAM team was pleased to be involved. We provided safe, sustainable solutions to make the concrete stronger from the outset.
In the basement, MARKHAM hydrogel admixture was included in the concrete mix for waterproofing and durability.
For the car park slabs, spray-applied hydrogel treatments were used. These harden the concrete slabs to a depth of up to 150mm, strengthening them against traffic abrasion and incoming contaminants.
