Tesco Service Yard – Chesterfield

Shrinkage cracking and joint sealant failure led to the Service Yard at Tesco Extra, Chesterfield leaking, causing corrosion and paint delamination on the supporting steelwork.

KCR Ltd selected AQURON 7000 colloidal silica hydrogel treatment to waterproof the concrete slab.

Existing failed coating removal, additional crack repair and joint sealant works were also carried out to provide a complete package of waterproofing works in what proved to be a very busy delivery yard, with some of the work carried out overnight to keep the impact on Tesco’s normal day to day operations to a minimum.
