High heat loads and the mechanical stresses of continuous server operation accelerate deterioration in untreated concrete. Long-term carbonation leads to surface breakdown, structural weakening and increased maintenance costs over the life of the facility.
MARKHAM hydrogel treatments permanently react within the concrete to block moisture pathways, prevent carbonation, and enhance density, reducing lifetime maintenance requirements from the time of construction.
MARKHAM holds EPDs (Environmental Product Declarations) for key elements in our project range.
Data centre facilities carry strict fire rating requirements. MARKHAM hydrogel treatments do not add to fire load. CONQOR PROTECT treated concrete has been independently tested and classified A1 / A1FL under BS EN 13501-1: 2018 – the highest possible reaction to fire classification. No flame retardants are present in the product.
